Attorney John C. Grazier

Mr. Grazier is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has participated in Jerry Spence’s nationally recognized trial lawyer’s training program.  He is admitted to practice before all Texas state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of Texas, and the United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and has been admitted to represent clients in specific cases by courts in Mississippi, Florida, and Louisiana.

Prior to his college and professional training, Mr. Grazier worked in the construction and oil field drilling industries during the summers and for two years following his graduation from the prestigious Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.  Upon entering college full time, he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from the University of Houston. Mr. Grazier continues to use experience and his science based undergraduate education in representing his clients, whose cases often benefit from his understanding of scientific and engineering principals and his earlier work experiences in the field.

After obtaining his Law Degree from the University of Houston Law Center, Mr. Grazier spent the first five years of his career with an established Houston law firm handling primarily commercial and construction litigation.  During this time, Mr. Grazier tried cases involving issues ranging from construction defects to theft of trade secrets.

Because of an overriding desire to focus his practice on the representation of individuals and businesses who had been injured physically or financially by the misdeeds of others, Mr. Grazier joined the Plaintiff’s law firm of J. Doug Cherry and Associates handling personal injury and maritime cases and later became a partner in the firm.  Upon Mr. Cherry’s retirement, the Law Offices of John C. Grazier, P.C. was formed in 1994.

Since forming the Law Offices of John C. Grazier, P.C., Mr. Grazier has successfully represented numerous clients who have suffered life changing injuries or lost loved ones as a result of wrongs committed on land and sea as well as clients whose businesses or financial futures have been threatened as a result of the greed or incompetence of others.  Mr. Grazier has obtained numerous multi-million dollar jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients, including a verdict in excess of $5 million dollars in a railroad crossing accident involving one of the nation’s largest railroad companies.  Mr. Grazier has also represented Plaintiffs in several class actions involving excessive and unfair charges levied on consumers and homeowners.
